Tacoma Big Beer Festival
The folks who brought you the incredibly popular Tacoma Craft Beer Festival are stepping up their game, bringing you a winter Tacoma beer event: the Big Beer Festival.
The big beers being celebrated are the big, bold beers of winter (and, let’s be honest, really any season) – big flavor, big character, and at least 6% alcohol content. You can expect more than 60 beers from 20 area craft breweries. The brewery invitation only event will be held February 16 (that’s the weekend after Valentine’s Day for those of you who keep track of that sort of thing) just on the other side of the Murray Morgan Bridge (which should be opent by then).
Online ticket sales start tomorrow, December 1. This event is a first, but if the last couple years of the Craft Beer Festival have taught us anything, it’s that Tacoma likes its beer festivals, and we know quite a few of you like your big beers, so you might not want to hold off too long on getting your tickets.
