Tacoma Boomers Wanted by Peace Corps

Are you looking for a change?  The Peace Corps will be in town on September 17th with a particularly keen eye for baby boomers looking for something new.  Interested?  Rec’d via email:

“Your adventures are only just beginning. The Peace Corps believes that no single group has more to offer in terms of experience, maturity, and demonstrated ability. Because there’s no upper age limit to serve in the Peace Corps, it’s never too late. In fact, Volunteers who are well into their 80’s have served and continue to serve. Join us for an evening of pictures and stories about Peace Corps service for the +50 Volunteer. Neal Hansen, a regional recruiter and local area returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served with his wife after the age of 50, will facilitate a panel of other local area Volunteers who also served in the Peace Corps after the age of 50.  Anyone who is interested in learning more about the Peace Corps experience is welcome to attend.  Because space may be limited, RSVP’s are highly encouraged.  Please e-mail seattle@peacecorps.gov or call 800.424.8580 with the number of people in your party.”
