Tacoma Christmas - A Sparkly Dec. 8th

Every girl deserves a little sparkle in her life. While the economy is not the best its been, some things are worth the extra penny. And believe me, when she opens that box it will create a memory to last a lifetime.

This seashell was designed for this years Festival of Trees, but Steph Farber (owner and jeweler) will be creating a few more for the store. The shell is cast from a real shell found on Fox Island. The pearl is black. The polished inside reflects the light of the pearl perfectly.

Jewelery is about so much more than spending money. It’s creating memories. So whether its the year to pop the question or just an opportunity to express your love, trust me, she’ll remember the occasion forever. And the whole team at LeRoy is terrific at creating the perfect gift. As their ads said a few years ago, “If you see it on someone else, they stole it from you.”

I have purchase one-of-a-kind items for my sisters for the past several Christmases at LeRoy. Well worth it! It is a joy just to walk through and look at the individual pieces, all so creative.

Steph Farber of LeRoy Jewelers and his wife Phyllis Harrison who owns the companion Art Stop at the same location, have been wonderful community supporters for years. They donate art pieces and jewelry to help several local non profits in our community raise funds. I was the successful bidder on a “Farberware” pendant and earrings in 1998 at an auction benefiting Tacoma youth scholarships. I have since had a ring, pendant and earrings crafted by Steph that will be handed down to my granddaughter. Bravo to these great Tacoma businesses who support the community that is their customer base.
