Tacoma Christmas - A Sweet Dec. 4th

Maybe the gold and diamond bicycle isn’t exactly the stocking stuffer you (or your budget) had in mind. So what looks good, tastes good, and is very definitely made in Tacoma? Almond Roca! Or Candy Cane Roca! Or Mocha Roca! Or… well, you get the idea.

The cute little Brown & Haley store on East 26th Street is the perfect place to find the tin of candy for that dinner party, stocking stuffer, candy tray, or office desk. If you aren’t picky about looks, go for a bag of mishaps – those candies that didn’t come out quite right. So much candy; so little time.

Brown & Haley Retail Outlet Store
110 East 26th Street

Monday through Saturday – 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
Sunday – 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Both great places! The Corina cakes are heavy and moist. One piece is too much for me. The Hello Cupcakes are better than the ones at that famous place (the name is escaping me) in West Seattle. Both really good additions to DT.

    cupcake royale? love that place!
the stuff at hello cupcake always taste like it’s from a mix. and if you show up late in the afternoon the frosting can have an unseemly film on the top.
cute shop though. love the christmas decorations they put up! i’m a sucker for cute.

Corina Bakery is one of my favorite places in town. I wish they would make little multipacks of christmas cookies so I could bring them to parties and pretend I made them… that would be the best!
