So maybe big sparkly diamonds aren’t in the cards this year. Or you need to buy a gift for your sister and aren’t CEO of Russell. Never fear. Tacoma has some great places to find special gifts for the special women in your life. And they won’t break the bank.
I hear complaints about how hard it is to buy gifts for women. My advice is this: Give with thought. Think about what she enjoys, wears and values. When you are in a store think about her and as long as you purchase with thought and care, you win. No matter what neighborhood you live in, there is a boutique nearby. There are great spots in Stadium, Proctor, Downtown, Upper Tacoma…. well, you get the picture. I’ve listed a few to get you started.

“Flourish” is another great place to buy jewelry. I just discovered it. It is just behind the Northwest Shop on Proctor. It is a tiny little store that I think is only open on weekends, but they have beautiful jewelry made locally. You can find beautiful necklaces and other jewelry anywhere from $25 to $150+.
