Tacoma Community House & Local Restaurants Bring You FLAVOR

Tacoma Community House has a fun new event planned for later this month, with the help of some of our favorite Tacoma restaurants. They're calling it FLAVOR. When you dine out on Thursday, October 24, at a participating restaurant, they will contribute 25% of your food bill to Tacoma Community House.
FLAVOR will bring together immigrant-owned and immigrant-supporting restaurants with other businesses and volunteers in a spirit of unity. Through the event, we -collectively - will be telling a story about the contributions immigrants make in our neighborhoods and communities. Why this event? Food is an expression of culture, and, like other aspects of our lives, the relationship of immigrants to food has long been a central part of the American experience.
It sounds like a good excuse to revisit one of your favorite restaurants, or maybe to try someplace new. The event also includes the chance to get in on a drawing for some pretty good prizes, including a San Jose del Cabo, Mexico vacation.
