Tacoma Food Co-op Celebration on July 19th

Have an appetite for fresh, local, and affordable food? Then help celebrate the evolution of the Tacoma Food Co-op.

The food cooperative in Tacoma began in 2006 with just twelve people and now has a mailing list with over 600 recipients. As of June 26, the Tacoma Food Co-op is officially incorporated.

At the event you can learn about progress the Tacoma Food Co-op has made, find out how to become a member, and mingle with local farmers, restaurants, businesses and community organizations who want to provide affordable and fresh food for the Tacoma residents.

Please make this event sustainable by bringing reusable dishes and silverware and arriving by bus, bike, carpool, or on foot.
