Tacoma Food Co-op Gathering
The Tacoma Food Co-op has started hosting monthly potlucks for members or interested folks to talk about whats going on with the project and hopes for the future. They were previously outside but the chilly fall weather and looming threat of rain and pushed the party indoors.
This month’s gathering will be at Black Water on Wednesday, October 22nd.
From the email:
Dan Hulse will be speaking about what a co-op is, where the Tacoma Food Co-op is now, and where we’re headed. We will start at 6:00pm and end at 8:00 pm. This will be a potluck event, so please bring a dish to share and some plates and utensils. We are not paying to use Black Water Cafe, so we hope you’ll support the cafe and buy your drink there.
The day the Food Co-op opens is the day I jump up and down in the streets. You can quote me on that.
