Just in case you have not heard, the new Apple Store at the Tacoma Mall opens on Saturday at 10 am. Some think this is the greatest thing ever. Some will never understand. We look forward to it.

Yup yup. I’m one of the non-understanders. I’ve never understood the appeal of paying more for a dumbed-down, plain-Jane looking gizmo.
Seeing as how I’m not a self-righteous hipster with Mommy & Daddy’s money to spend, I am not their target demographic anyway.
But it will be nice to see some new stores at the mall rather than empty Storefronts.

Apple opening a store in Tacoma is great news. I no longer have to go to the south center store to be a self righteous hipster while spending Mommy and Daddy’s money.Actually, I am a 55yr old life long carpenter raised in the mid west – I am an Apple customer because they produce the finest computers backed by an insane customer service platform. Try it – you’ll like it.

As a friend said once, Apple is like that really attractive girl that gets away with murder just by flashing a smile. Love their products, can’t stand the company and the way they do business.

Ah well, it’s just a matter of time before another hottie turns up with a better personality. When that day comes, I’ll burn AAPL a breakup song CD…

The mall is nearly 50 years old. Time to move it to 512 and I-5 and put another urban one where the convention center is.

Mac vs PC! Sounds like another issue for the Tacoma City Council to take up. “The City of Tacoma resolves that Windows 7 was actually not MY idea.”

This may save the planet! Just think about all of the people that won’t have to drive their dirty cars north when their Iphones decide to stop working every month.

But yes you will still have to read about it on your facebook wall..

    I’m a Ford man.

Finally a place I can take my apple stuff for repair without having to drive for an hour! I wonder if I qualify as a Genius?

Great another massive line to stand around aimlessly in and wait around & be corraled through the store for the “sheer” pleasure of tapping and touching iSurfaces. Mooooooo.
