Tacoma Opera presents Le Comte Ory

On November 7th the Tacoma Opera will present their opening performance of Le Comte Ory. Sung in French, with a projection of English subtitles in case you don’t understand French, this opera by Gioachino Rossini is supposed to be a gas.

Set in the dark ages of the crusades, a young count tries to win young Countess Adele’s heart while her brother is away at war. His way in? Disguising himself as a nun. Mistaken identity + cross dressing = hilarity ensues.
