Tacoma Public Library - Teddy Bear Hijinks and More
The Tacoma Public Library is more than just books. They’ve got a lot of fun and useful events going on all the time for adults and kids alike. One that particularly caught our attention this month (and made us laugh a little) is the Stuffed Animal Sleepover, where children are invited to bring their toys for a sleepover (complete with photographer) and return the next morning to pick them up and hear a special story time. This novel event is just one of many, although sadly, not all involve teddy bear hijinks.
Whether you’re looking for somewhere to escape the nasty weather, or ways to keep entertained while school is out and City Council isn’t meeting for a couple weeks (whatever will we do with ourselves?), the library may hold some answers for you. You could even look into one of those book things (e- or old-fashioned paper).
