Tacoma Shift Happens & BE Green South Sound on Monday

Tacoma will be hosting a day-long conversation about sustainability on Monday at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center. BE Green, Pecha Kucha Vol. 9, and Shift Happens will be presenting tools, resources, and inspiration to enable you or your company to embrace sustainability – even if in little ways. The Mayor will be delivering the first “State of the City Address” at 7 pm. The day’s schedule of events looks like this:
Monday, January 31st, 2011
12:00 to 3:00 pm – BE Green South Sound Seminars ($10)
3:30 to 4:45 – Pecha Kucha (free)
5:00 – Go Local Business Showcase (free)
6:45 – Shift Happens (free)
7:00 – “State of the City Address” by Mayor Strickland (free)
8:00 – Done
