Tacoma To Lose Postmark

Starting Monday night, Olympia’s mail will be coming through Tacoma for processing.  At first I thought, rock on, look at us, we can handle it.  Then, as I read that Olympia’s going to lose its postmark because of the consolidation, it occurred to me that we’ll be losing our postmark.  The new postmark is a combined Tacoma/Olympia mark.  Sad.  Nothing against Olympia.  I like Olympia.  However, I also like having a defined identity here in Tacoma.  Someday, when we’re called TacOly… nevermind, I need some coffee.
