Tacoma's Generous Baristas

The New York Times today has a story about a barista at the Starbucks on 26th & Proctor who will be donating a kidney to one of her favorite customers. Annamarie Ausnes, the kidney recipient works at UPS. It’s a very nice “Tacoma community” type story and in the paper of record, no less.

And here we’ve always been happy to get a free refill from our barista … who knew how generous they could be? Wow.
