Tacoma's Own Stephanie Anne Johnson on The Voice

In case you somehow managed to miss all the buzz on the internet last night, another Tacoma singer is getting some attention for her talent on NBC's The Voice.

Tacoma's own Vicci Martinez, who we've all known for years was a talented singer, got some serious attention on The Voice in 2012, getting in some impressive performances along the way.

Johnson's performance on last night's show won her a spot in the competition, and praise from all the judges - including a favorable comparison to Vicci Martinez - who Johnson says she went to high school with (about 2:30 into the video above). And while we had just one local singer to root for in Season 1, Emily Randolph from Eatonville also made the cut last night.

This gives us two Pierce County voices. Good luck ladies.
