Sure, he often wears odd clothes – but we overlook this shortcoming because of his marvelously flattering portraits of local public figures. His work is known for its subtlety and conceptual nuance, dappled with genteel wit and… Well, actually, we’ll just let the man speak for himself…

Feedtacoma.com TACOMIC cartoonist RR Anderson has finished his first self-published book titled: “100 Tacomics: The Secular & Apolitical Cartoon Life of Tacoma and her Moral People(s) or A Patriot’s History of Tacoma (2007 – 2009)”.

A complete collection of Anderson’s work from the beginning in 2007 up until the end of the world in 2009, this collection of political cartoons skewers local issues, politicians, celebrities, and other tomfoolery. This most unique book is funded entirely by a grant from the Tacoma Arts Commission and is now part of Art at Work: Tacoma Arts Month!
