Temporary TAGRO Shortage

Other cities may be having water shortages, but in Tacoma gardeners are facing another kind of shortage: a TAGRO shortage. From the TAGRO web page:
TAGRO Temporarily Closed Due to Product Shortage, May Re-Open Monday, June 22, 2015
Please call ahead to confirm the availability of the products you want.
TAGRO is made through a special process using Tacoma municipal biosolids (yep, that's what you think it is) in a national award-winning program. Apparently the affordable prices - $10 per cubic yard of the mix, $23 for top soil, $30 for potting soil - and bumper garden crops it produces have caught up with the supply. There's normally a free pile of the mix too, but that's unavailable, possibly to be replenished by the end of the month.
Apparently TAGRO is a pretty popular product this year. Okay, Tacoma, help your city. It's time for you to do your duty ...
