Term Limits? Why or Why Not?

With last week’s vote allowing the voters decide the question of eliminating City Council term limits, we now have Proposition 1. Well, now time to get down to business. The City Clerk’s Office is looking for volunteers to serve on committees “for” and “against” the measure. The committees will create the statements that will appear in the voter’s pamphlet.

Interested in helping out? If so, send a letter of interest to Yvonne Yaskus electronically via yvonne.yaskus@cityoftacoma.org or to the City Clerk’s Office (744 Market Street, Room 220).

The deadline is 5:00 pm on July 21st.
