Terminus Comes to Opera Alley
A note came across our desk about what sounds like an interesting little project in Opera Alley next month.
Assemblage Theater presents the Northwest premiere of Mark O’Rowe’s critically acclaimed play, Terminus. From bustling streets to the skies above Dublin, then deep into the bowels of the earth, Terminus whisks us away on an incredible journey through a night of strange and fantastical occurrences. Three people, ripped from their daily lives and catapulted into chaos, narrate their seemingly disconnected tales which will eventually collide in a brutal head-on smash.
‘Hilarious, stunning, surprisingly touching and enormously satisfying… a fantastic piece of writing’ – Irish Times
‘dazzling… O’Rowe is expanding his language and dramatic form as far as they can go’ -Guardian
‘gripping, grotesque and deliriously good… [Terminus] makes O’Rowe pretty much the most exciting contemporary Irish playwright’ -Sunday Tribune.
Sounds intriguing…
