We came home the other day to discover this letter in our mailbox. I think it's for you, Ms. Monkey.

It is the season for Monkeyshines. It's a time to find creative ways to pay it forward, to generate good karma, to think about ways to bring more joy into the lives of those around us...

We also hear saying thank you might bring good fortune and inspire the monkeys. Do you have a story to tell? Do you want to draw a picture?

    Are monkeyshines happening on the 8th this year ? I keep trying to find some confirmation of when I should go on the prowl to find some. :O Help?

      I'm getting the impression that they're releasing them over multiple days, and that they've already started. When in doubt, they've said there's still ones from past years that no one has found, so there's some well hidden ones still out there year round.

    Searched all thru South Park and along the Water Flume Trail down to the Asian Pacific Cultural Center but no monkey did shine for me. I found a very nice round piece of granite from some long ago glacier spill but it was just a tease from afar....don't forget us in the South oh Ms. Monkey...

    Have been out looking for 2 days and have found nothing. I did however speak to a lovely lady with 3 girls out looking too. They were having a fun time looking in trees, climbing trees and but hadn't found anything either. The thing is that we were outside enjoying the adventure and getting exercise at the same time. It's easy to spot fellow monkeyshiners as we're off the path searching bushes, trees , bodies of water. We all want the prize but looking is half the fun. Thanks for the hunt Ms Monkeyshiners and all the people involved.

    Walked around titlow this morning around 6 am with no accord to finding anything. Oh well that pup had a good time and it woke us up.
