The B Side on Exit133

Starting this week, you’ll be able to find a new area on Exit133 devoted to the lighter side of Tacoma – or at least the lighter side of Exit133.

Look toward your right on the homepage to see a little “A” and “B” in the navigation bar above the photo.  Exit133B (we’re affectionately calling it “The B Side”) will feature a few regular writers sharing their general thoughts on living and working in our fair city.

Two B Side writers have already gotten underway. New-to-town Kimberley Tibbert will post some of her first impressions of Tacoma. Erik Hanberg will share some of his thoughts on living downtown for the last five years.

In addition to the regular content, we’ll publish reviews from time to time. We’ll be recommending local art, theater, film, music, even books (so long as you can see it, watch it, hear it, buy it, or read it in Tacoma). We’re not looking to review everything that happens in town, but we will try to make sure we let you know what’s happening that’s really good.

Andrew Fry, who you might know from his blog, starts us off with a theater review of the play The Steward of Christendom, now running in the theater at Commencement Bay Coffee. Look for a movie review from another local writer Friday.

Our goal is to get a few posts up a week as we get things rolling on the B Side, so keep an eye on it. We’re already having fun with it, and we hope it helps you figure out where you want to spend a free night now that Tacoma (finally!) has many good options to choose from.
