A quick follow-up on the Kalakala saga:  the ferry has apparently been saved, yet again.

    Someone needs to make sure that the Kalakala leaves Tacoma as soon as possible.

    Gary Coy bought it to move it next to his ships on Ruston Way before the shoreline masterplan goes into effect.

    This following correspondence was generated to address the rumor that the Kalakala was purchased by Gary Coy: “We represent Sperry Ocean Dock and write on its behalf. There is apparently a rumor circulating that Sperry has purchased the Kalakala. On behalf of Sperry I can assure you there is no truth whatsoever to this rumor. … In any event, we want to make absolutely clear that this has no basis in fact. Thank you for your time.”
