The Planners of Stewart Middle School

We really do like people that challenge our imaginations and try to envision a future Tacoma … yet it’s rarely kids that bring these thoughts to mind. The TNT has a story this morning on a Stewart Middle School team whose vision for a school based on sustainability principles won them second prize in a competition hosted by the Council of Educational Facility Planners International. Windmills. Recycled materials. A rooftop garden. We like it.

Hmmm … I see some Imagine Tacoma potential here.
