The Seven-Oh-One

A new sign went up on Pacific Ave recently. The former Capers has a new name and some new owners. Its now The Seven-Oh-One. If you didn’t notice the change in management don’t worry, new owners Patti and Kristen have maintained their terrific menu and added a few exceptional additions.

They’ve also brought back dinner service and added a full bar.

Some other features include a vast martini menu ($3 all day everyday!) and a growing wine list. Special events include $8.00 bottles of wine every Wednesday with a dinner purchase and 50% off everything each Thursday after 5:30pm.

Now THAT’s some economic relief I can get into.

    $3 martinis?

  • Davest April 9, 2009

Yes! $3.00 Martinis and they are using the good stuff. I had one tonight that was wonderful. Toss in an appetizer or two and you are talking serious happy hour any time of day.

I wonder if they know how to make a good gin julip? For $3.00???!!!

Had dinner there Friday night, great food, cool place, Martini’s were tasty, but be careful, at $3 you can get carried away (aka, I’ll take one of each please!). Staff were pleasant too, basically a great addition to local food and drink options.

This is a great find in a cool building. Dinner for two and “several” drinks and for around $50, you can’t beat it. I think they fill a void for the mid-range dining out experience. Spread the word and patronize this place!
