Thursday: Urban Living & Transportation Conversation

If you're a bicycle transportation advocate, a planning geek, or just interested in how cities work, you might want to consider checking out a lecture at UPS tomorrow.

Danish architect and urban planner, Bianca Hermansen will be speaking on Urban Livability and Transportation  Her work has focused on creating public spaces that are livable for everyone, and she's been a leader in creating the bicycle infrastructure Copenhagen is known for.

Thursday's talk will cover aspects of livability in urban environments. An archictect from international firm Gehl Architects, Hermansen is described as a "visionary with international success on urban design initiatives that promote more bikeable and socially equitable cities."

The event is free and open to all. Thursday, November 14, 2013, at 7 p.m.
