Tickets for Tall Ships

Tall Ships Tacoma 2008, is shaping up to be a very large event. Every time we get updates it is more exciting. If you want early tickets and special opportunities, you can become a member of the Tall Ships Organization. The nonprofit organization is not only overseeing the event but provides sail-based education opportunities to youth and promotes Tacoma’s maritime history.

Some of the benefits of the membership are the opportunity to attend a dockside reception following the Parade of Sail of vessels arriving for the event, a 10% discount on all Tall Ships® merchandise and early ticket purchasing.

Single memberships are $50 each; family memberships are $100.

A limited number of advanced tickets will be available to each member starting March 15. Tickets go on sale to the public on May 19.

Tall Ships Tacoma 2008 will be held July 3-7 along the Thea Foss Waterway. More than 30 historic sailing vessels – including the USCG Eagle, HMS Bounty, the Niña and The Lady Washington – have signed up for the event. Whew. We’re tired just thinking about it.
