Tourism Bureau Gets New Leader
The Tacoma Regional Convention & Visitor Bureau, the non-profit charged with marketing Tacoma and Pierce County to tourists, has hired a new Executive Director.
Tammy Blount, whose tourism marketing experience includes positions at Tourism Vancouver (as in BC, not WA) will take the job of marketing “where art and nature meet.”
The position has been vacant since August when former Executive Director Ruthie Reinert left to take the helm at a Convention & Visitor Bureau in Oregon.
