TRCVB Names New CEO

The Tacoma Regional Visitor and Convention Bureau has named Bennish Brown, currently of South Carolina, as its new CEO.

We read from The News Tribune that Brown, currently CEO of the Rock Hill, S.C./York County CVB, will take over the position vacated by Tacoma’s Tammy Blount by June 1. We’d like to welcome Mr. Brown to Tacoma; maybe we’ll have some sun for you by June.

You guys have a fair number of opinions about Tacoma’s selling points. What advice do you have for the new tourism CEO?
