Troubadour Jim Page and Artis the Spoonman Perform
Like music and books? We’ve got the perfect marriage for you. Tacoma’s downtown Library will be celebrating summer with two of the Pacific Northwest’s most popular street performers. Jim Page and Artis the Spoonman have performed together for years all over the US, Canada, and Europe. Their new album, FolkPunch, features contemporary and hard-hitting street activist music with a raggedy circus edge, acoustic guitar and vocals, plus the most outrageous spoon percussion on the planet.
Jim Page has been on the music scene for more than 20 years, and he has shared the stage with Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Mickey Hart, J.J. Cale, and many more.
Artis the Spoonman has performed in bars and on sidewalks internationally. His avant-garde percussion, coupled with his contagious spirit, changes the way audiences view cutlery.

I will miss Jim Hinde. I guess the closest thing Tacoma has to Jim is Three Fingered Jack. I hope Jack stays healthy.
