Twisty Cup Pro-Am on Sunday

The Third Annual Twisty Cup Pro-Am competition at M-Space is Sunday, July 23rd – tomorrow.  It’s a down-and-dirty competition to see which glassblower can make the best dainty little Venetian-style ridged cup in 10 minutes or less. See the best, and the rest, compete to see “who is the ultimate maestro of the twisty cup.”

The cost to compete is $5.00.  The cost to watch is nothing.  $5 for a beer cup, and only $3 for a commemorative hand-made twisty cup to drink your PBR!

Last year, Alex Stisser handily won the pro category, competing in only a Speedo and cape, and Ulysses Martin took the amateur category for the second year in a row. Can anyone unseat these champs, or will they once again trounce the competition?

I hope to make it.  PBR out of a handmade glass is the ultimate in high style Tacoma fun.
