Twokoi Will Close for the Winter

Sad news for sushi lovers in Tacoma: Twokoi Japanese Restaurant will be closing for the winter. The Japanese restaurant at South 17th and Commerce in downtown Tacoma announced this week that they will be closing up shop while major construction re-routes 17th into a straight street passing directly by the building Twokoi is located in.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart to announce the temporary closing of TWOKOI Japanese Cuisine.

Due to the upcoming construction improvements to 17th Street, there will be limited access to our restaurant.  We are using this opportunity to make improvements and update TWOKOI Japanese Cuisine.

We will be closed as of November 27, 2014 until construction is completed.

Stay tuned and follow our progress on our website at www.twokoi.com or on FaceBook at www.facebook.com/twokoi2

If you should have any questions, contacts will remain available through our website.  Or contact either Jeannie at jeannietwokoi@gmail.com or Judi at judi.organizer@gmail.com.

Our management and staff thank you for your support and patronage over the years and we look forward seeing you with our new fresh look!

Construction on the road is expected to wrap up sometime late next spring, which is a long time to go without a Twokoi fix, and we're now definitely craving a Twokoi Tower and some sashimi. We've got a little over a week to get in there and enjoy the heck out of it... How about an early lunch?
