"Upper Theater District" Victorian Duplex

Personally, we have a thing for these older Victorians.  Our house was built in 1888.  This home was built in 1889 according to the Northwest Room’s database… or 1895 if you believe the Tax Assessor’s site.  It is currently a duplex, but at this price you single family home buyers should be looking.  1600 square feet of Victorian character.  We have no idea what the inside looks like.  Most intriguing to us is the realtor’s use of “upper theater district” to describe this house in the 800 block of South L.  We’re confused enough around here about our neighborhoods.  When did “upper theater district” become a neighborhood?
