UPS Hosts Discussion on Aviation and Climate Change

Reminder – this event is tomorrow.

The University of Puget Sound is hosting a one day summit called “Flying in a Carbon-Constrained World: Aviation’s Role in Oil Dependence and Climate Change”. It will focus on the military and civil aviation’s roles in in America’s addiction to oil and our contribution to global warming. The day will include information from the Air Force and progress private airlines are making. Organizers invite everyone to “come learn about the cutting edge of alternative aviation fuels and how they may contribute to a safer, cooler world”. This looks to like it’ll be a very interesting event.
