Urban Government Speakers

The City of Tacoma’s Neighborhood Council Office and the University of Washington, Tacoma’s Urban Studies Department, will be offering a series of panel discussions about government and it’s place in the urban landscape.

The sessions are free and open to the public. They will take place on UWT campus in the Carwein Auditorium on Monday evenings. The schedule is as follows:

• Feb. 4- Intergovernmental Coordination/Regionalism
• Feb. 11- Economic Development/Quality of Life
• Feb. 25- Homelessness/Mental Health/Job Training
• Mar. 3- Schools

• Mar. 10- Making Decisions in Tacoma
