I think you need to visit Poledello.

Vertical World is fine, although I’ll note that this does represent an out-of-town business competing with a local Tacoma business. Just sayin’.

Is it true? I just walked past Pacific Plaza and saw a big paper sign on the window, “Coming Soon. DIRT BIKE WORLD. Indoor Motocross Track”

It is ironic, for so long Pacific was known as Horizontal World.

Could someone from vertical world rappel from the clock tower at OCH and pull that damn tree growing there. I just can’t get to it. I am serious.

I second the removal of the tree from Old City Hall. After the loss of the Luzon, the presence of a tree in that monument of a building is disturbing.

No thanks. I’ll stick with the best, Edgeworks.

It’s not exactly competition for Edgeworks. The Vertical World spot, as I understand it, is mostly for building climbing walls, and they offer a bouldering gym along with it. Nice to have that downtown (or whatever you call that neighborhood), but it’s not really an alternative to a comprehensive climbing gym like Edgeworks.
