Anybody?
Thank you, Morgan

OMG….I love this building and this neighborhood. The building next door looks like it’s been abandoned for a long time. Oakland could definitely use some sprucing up. There are lots of newer townhouses that have sprung up there in recent years. They have that nice big park. Freeway access is only a couple blocks away. And the mountain views are spectacular. This neighborhood has potential. One can only imagine the possibilities.
I think the one thing that could really benefit the neighborhood is if the city lowered the speed limit on Center or reduced it down to two or three lanes. It’s currently a speedway, with cars flying through at 50 mph, scaring away any potential pedestrian activity. In addition, I believe it’s the main route to the dump from the entire south end of the ciy.
Nonetheless, I’d jump at the chance to really make a difference in Oakland. Who’s with me?

I wish! A great investment and a huge opportunity to turn a budding neighborhood into a revitalized community.
Upgrade this one building and the rest of Center street will follow.

Absolutely.
We recently moved into Oakland and I cannot get over how much potential this area has. A change in ownership of this building, a bit of sprucing up and tenants who want to create a sense of community on Center Street would be great first steps!
Anyone up for a small Oakland Madrona farmers market? Oakland Alt High School has a decent parking lot…just throwing that out there.
