Walker Apartments Sold

The word on the street is that the Walker Apartments at Sixth and St. Helens have sold.  The building was previously on the market for $6.2 million, but we don’t know the final sale price this time around.  The Walker is an eighty (originally 68) unit building, circa 1927, with a stone exterior and a hot-hot-hot location across from the Triangle Townhomes.  Interestingly it’s also one of only a few apartment buildings in Tacoma on the National Historic Register. 

Our assumption is that the Walker will be going condo, but we don’t have information to confirm that yet.  Details anyone?
