Want to Run the Speakeasy?

With the recent news of the Harmon moving into the old St Helen’s Cafe space, many people have asked us about the Broadway Speakeasy in the Mecca. The original plan was for the Harmon partners to run the restaurant in the revitalized building. Construction on the building is progressing and the building looks more beautiful everyday.

Carole Holder and Pat Nagle of Sound and Shore Property and the Harmon had been involved in the Mecca since the beginning of the revitalization process. However, financing questions and construction being several months from being finished, led to the difficult decision of jumping on the chance to immediately set up shop in the old St Helens Cafe and not waiting for the Speakeasy space.

The Gintz Group is doing a beautiful job on the construction at the Mecca and the location has great potential. Anyone want to get into the restaurant business?
