Way Out Records Fundraiser for Youth

Tis the season to give back.  Mark your calendars for December 15th.  Martinis.  Jazz.  A good cause. 

WayOutRecords is hosting its first Annual Fundraiser & Private party December 15th 2006 @ The Blue Olive/Tacoma.  “Our Youth, Our Responsibility” will be the theme of this festive event which will include appetizers, dinner, and a live performance by “Michael Powers”.  Come out and hear about the wonderful things that are happening in the community along with the life changing stories shared by recording artists Jon Michael Spencer & Rolondo Berring, producer Alex Davis, Rodney Raccoon and others whose lives have been impacted through WayOutRecords.

In 2005, WayOutRecords created WayOut Kids and Rodney Raccoon (a new children’s character) to assist in educating children using hip hop music.  Since its creation, Rodney Raccoon who is sponsored by the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound has been touring through schools, daycare facilities, and other educational institutions spreading the message that “Education is fun!”  Proceeds raised from this event will go towards Rodney Raccoon’s Educational School tour and our continuous work with youth in the community.  Our goal is to tour Rodney Raccoon through fifty Elementary Schools, daycares, Boys & Girls Clubs, and YMCA’s.

We all have a responsibility to help pick up the pieces of a fallen and discarded generation.  Please join us as we take responsibility for our youth.
