Wayzgoose 2009 is March 1st
Celebrate small press month at the King’s Books’ fifth annual Wayzgoose. The always-amazing event is this Sunday and will feature our city’s fine letterpress artists. Watch them work. Check out their prints. Talk about Tacoma. And, returning for the 2nd year, a big steamroller. Here’s our video from last year of Jessica Spring and sweet pea trying out the steamroller:

Awesome, wish I could have made it last year. I’ll be there this time! I haven’t seen Jessica since taking her class at PLU two years ago. She’s amazingly talented!

another cool day of printing; great art, great letterpress items to buy, great time for the people to ‘roll their own’ with those Beautiful Angle guys (that’s a real pleasure).
Thanks to everyone, who really seemed to enjoy themselves, customers and printers alike for another great printing festival.

Our first time there, and it was a lot of fun, and very educational. Great seeing many of the usual friends. Thanks to all the vendors. I feel bad we made out with a lot of paper-stuff and didn’t spend the money purchasing as I would have liked. Thank you to everyone who put this on and thanks for making it a very nice family and kid-friendly event.
