Weekend Arts Preview Jan 10 - 13
It’s a new year. The holidays are over. There are a couple good events worth highlighting this weekend:
Garrison Keillor, host of A Prairie Home Companion, will be at the Pantages tonight at 7:30 pm. It’s sure to be a good night of dry Midwestern stories.
Friday night is the opening of Urinetown at Tacoma Musical Playhouse. It’s an award-winning satire of classic musicals, filled with very funny songs and plot (and title) that you don’t often see on the stage.
Don’t forget the surprise hit Juno is still selling out night after night at the Grand Cinema. And it’s the last week for The Kite Runner there, too.
As the calendar gets moving, expect to see a lot more activities in the coming weeks.

Do you think Mr. Keillor will be discussing the mellowing agents of ketchup?
