Weekend Events for the pre-4th Weekend

Updated:  Looking for something to do this weekend?  Look no more.  The Taste of Tacoma starts today with enough food, wine, and music for all of us.  The weather is gorgeous.  On the other hand, maybe we should get onto the water and dream a bit.  The Small Ships event, the 2006 Classic Wooden Yacht Rendezvous, also starts today on the Thea Foss.  Now that’s my kind of day.  We have our own wooden boat – an eighteen foot cedar strip canoe that hasn’t been on the water yet this year.  Maybe tomorrow’s our day to get it outside.  So many options…

Update: Jamie and I are dusting off the canoe and heading for the water.  If you see us, be sure to wave.
