Weekend Review: tree time
It was birthday weekend at compound Dunkelberger, so I spent most of the time in my pajamas with the Harry Potter movie series on ABC Family. Wow, that is a lot of teen-age magic to deal with in 48 hours.
Even so, there was some time spent outside of the house. The Blue Mouse had Legend of the Guardians on the screen. Heck, that theater is worth going to just to for the popcorn. The movie may have lacked a little something-something, but the popcorn was meal-worthy.
Then came Kids Day at Festival of Trees at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center. This annual benefit for Mary Bridge continues to not only offer a heavy dose of Holiday cheer but a steady stream of donations to benefit medical treatment for local children.
