What Does Tacoma Need?
The News Tribune wants to know what would make Sumner better. Parking. Some new commercial businesses. Whatever. It’s Sumner. I ask you, what does Tacoma need? What businesses do we need to make Tacoma a better place? Don’t be general. “We need more martini bars.” Be specific.
To me:
- Uwajimaya (or something similar)
- An upscale bowling alley. Martini bar meets gritty Tacoma bowling alley. A little bit of Frank Sinatra. A little bit of cool industrial design. Think ACME Bowl with a little more Tacoma attitude.
- A tapas restaurant.
- An Ethiopian restaurant.
