Will Convention Center Hotel Bring Darth Vader to Tollefson Plaza?

It's that time between Christmas and New Year's when there's not much in the way of news. So we don't have an update on plans for the new Convention Center hotel, but we do have a fun little related item that our friends over at The Daily Index noticed - maybe you can spot it in this close-up of the artist rendering of the hotel...

The Daily Index pointed it out, and asked a good question: "... how often Darth Vader will cruise by the new hotel on his Segway. Every hour? Every half-hour?"

Maybe he can hang out with the Pacific Avenue Streetscape dodo bird.
