Woofstock '08 is Sunday!

Woofstock ’08, a Pet Adoption Music Festival, is an event with fun activities, auctions, education about your pets, and a day to find adoptive families for pets who have lived in shelters and rescue groups’ foster homes.

Are you looking for a new addition to your family? How about a dog? A cat? A bunny, perhaps? How about looking for a cat … but coming home with a dog.

The Adoption Village, co-sponsored by the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County and Pawsitive Alliance, will include animals looking for new homes, experts to give you tips on training and care, dog wading pools, and an agility course.

If you’d like to be a sponsor of Woofstock ’08, find out more information here. Money raised benefits local rescue, spay, and neuter programs.

Event isn’t over yet…. so great to see so many empty cages there. Pets are finding new homes. Thanks to many of you!

What a fun event! My dog Odin is passed out in the front lawn from all the festivities. All the pets were so well behaved. Thank you to all involved.
