Woofstock 2006 at Cheney Stadium on Saturday

So maybe rat rod cars and vintage bikes aren’t your thing.  Maybe your dog needs to get outside this weekend and hang out with a few like-minded pups.  We’ve found the perfect event for you.  The Dugan Foundation’s Woofstock 2006 Animal Adoption Music Festival is Saturday and will raise money and awareness for animal adoption.

On August 5th,  Cheney Stadium will be filled with animal welfare groups, merchants providing services for pets, rescues and adoption groups from all around the northwest, demonstrations, and great music. It will be a day of education and great activities for the whole family, including your pet! The Adoption Town Square will be complete with a grassy covered doggie play area and experts to give you tips on training and care. The Merchant Village will host businesses and organizations with everything you will ever need for your furry children. Plus all day, the music will draw you into the stadium for great performances from talented local and regional musicians. Towards the end of the day, we will hold a brief Homeless Animal Vigil, to pay our respects to all the adoptable animals that are no longer with us, only because there just weren’t enough homes.

When:
Saturday August 5, 9 am – 8 pm
