Youth Wind Ensemble at UPS

The University of Puget Sound may not be attracting prominent national comedians these days, but at least it’s doing its part to foster artistic talent in local kids.

The Puget Sound Youth Wind Ensemble is a band of area public and private school students conducted by Dr. Robert Taylor, director of Bands and Chair of the Wind and Percussion department at UPS. Their fifth season debuts on Nov. 2 at 7pm with a concert at the campus’s Schneebeck Hall. Tickets are $8.

This may be your last chance for a calm moment before the country descends in the chaos of the election, so why not listen to some kids playing beautiful music?
