Yummy Treats at Downtown Market Tomorrow

Tomorrow’s Downtown Farmers Market will feature a sweet treat: Fresh Grilled Peaches over Vanilla Ice Cream. Chef Charlie McManus of Primo Grill, will be preparing a refreshing summer treat LIVE in the Local Living Lounge. Each week the market features a different chef demo to educate Tacomans on how to prepare delectable things with local ingredients. The demo begins at 10:30am, and you can stay and listen to the Joshua Cain Band directly following the demo.

Where’s the Local Living Lounge? It’s the area just off the street where most of the prepared food vendors are. Stop by the Go Local booth and learn about your local merchants, visit the kids activities provided by Tacoma Mama, and pick up your delicious treat made by Chef Charlie, all in the Local Living Lounge.
