Apply by Dec. 4 to Serve on the Charter Review Committee

The City Charter – Tacoma's governing document – is up for review in 2014, and applications are being accepted now through Dec. 4, 2013 from those interested in volunteering to be part of a 15-member Charter Review Committee.   

The Mayor and members of the City Council shall each recommend one individual for appointment. The Government Performance and Finance Committee shall recommend an additional six members.

Applications may be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office, Room 220, Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St. or at cityoftacoma.org/cbcapplication. They must be received in the City Clerk’s Office by 5 p.m. on Dec. 4, 2013. 

Copies of the City Charter may be obtained in the City Clerk’s Office or at cityoftacoma.org/citycharter.
